Algebra
Treat every expression as an instruction to be followed in a fixed order. Substitution with a negative value is the highest-yield drill: f(x) = x^2 - 3x + 1 at x = -2 gives 4 + 6 + 1 = 11, because squaring a negative gives a positive and -3 times -2 gives +6. Both of those signs have their own distractor.
